Lessons I Learned from "Blackberry"...

Choose to be Happy & Exuberant!

No matter what happened,  Blackberry always exuded happiness. She never complained. She only wanted those around her to be happy, feel loved and love her back. She made everyone who met her happy. She loved everyone!
She didn't judge. She didn't pick favourites. She loved babies, adults, men, women and other pets, even cats and hamsters (which she happily lived with).

You couldn't help but smile or laugh at her cute face and goofy moves. She entertained you. She revelled in being able to make you laugh.

When you were sad, or crying, she was the first to be at your feet or side to comfort you. Her big, brown eyes looked longingly at you, her face showed deep concern. Her little body gave a ton of warmth and a caring that touched my heart and soul every time.  Nothing was more comforting and pure. She was a true friend - one I will never forget.
